Greenbelt Guardians Workday
Saturday, July 19, 2008, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Soma Austin will be participating with the Greenbelt Guardians in their next Barton Creek Greenbelt workday. Yeah, we know it will be hot, but they will be bringing cold watermelon, snacks, breakfast tacos, energy bars, drinks and water to keep us strong through out the day.

(across from the parking lot of Barton Hills Elementary School)
Work projects include:
- Regrading and drainage work to do on the entry trail section to the kiosk.
- Weedeating and weed management.
- Removal of invasive species (nandina & lagustrum) and restoration.
- Data collection and documentation for the restoration areas.
- Removal of old ranch barbed wire.
- Trash pick up.
