Community Life
Life is not to be lived in isolation. Rather, our lives are to be lived in community with others and in the rhythms of life that ebb and flow. At Soma Austin we place a very high value on intentionally developing long-term social, spiritual relationships. We invite you to join us in community through any of the following environments.
Weekly Gatherings
In the midst of life that seeks to pull us in many different directions, it is critical to our ongoing restoration that we gather regularly with others in community for fellowship, celebration, prayer and to commit ourselves to examine God's word and its teachings. We meet each Sunday at 5:30pm.

Missional Communities
Missional Communities are our primary places of community, and where we share our lives with one another. They are not meetings, but rather a community of people who live in similar parts of town and who share parks, restaurants, neighborhoods and common stuggles. They are where we learn from one another, serve one another, grow together and join together in renewing people we know and the local communities we live in.

Recreation
Austin is a beautiful city with wonderful weather that has miles of trails, acres of public parks, the Colorado River and businesses that support a very active city. At Soma Austin we seek to be actively involved in our community and support those who help keep things going.

Serving through Love Austin
As a church we are given a mission to renew people and communities through the message of Jesus in the city of Austin and abroad. As such, we actively participate with Love Austin, which is a non-profit organization seeking to restore people and communities in the city of Austin.

Community Discussions
From time to time we like to host discussions in the community. We might discuss books, movies, culture, music, community, family, or whatever else gets enough interest.
