Let's Get to Work Initiative
Let’s Get To Work is a collaborative effort in Austin to develop a scalable program to move homeless men in Austin from transitional housing to permanent housing through case management, job training, community-based partnerships, living wages and aid with initial housing costs.
Partnership
Soma Austin is partnering through it's leadership and is the initial church sponsor for the program. The pastor of Soma Austin, Jacob Vanhorn, serves as the head of the Community Sponsorship Sub-Committee which is tasked with attracting churches, businesses and non-profits to sponsor specific clients who will have the opportunity to move from homeless transitional housing to new hope and opportunities.
