Renewing Our City
Jesus loves Austin and desires its renewal! The bible teaches that Jesus is about his glory and the renewal of all creation that was torn and broken through rebellion. As people of Christ, we participate with Jesus in renewing people and communities through declaring and demonstrating the gospel of Jesus.

Soma Groups
The most direct way to renewal in our city is through our own renewal and the renewal of those closest to us, in our homes, our neighborhoods, and where we work and play. Soma Groups are our primary places of community, and where we share our lives with one another. They are not meetings, but rather a community of people who are in relationship with one another and who share parks, restaurants, neighborhoods and common struggles. They are where we learn from one another, serve one another, grow together and join together in renewing people we know and the local communities we live in.

Austin Disaster Relief Network
The Austin Disaster Relief Network is comprised of church, ministry, and business leaders within the Christian community in the Greater Austin area whose vision is to serve Christ by establishing a network to meet the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of those affected by disaster. Soma Austin is proud to partner with ADRN in meeting these needs and serving those affected by disaster.

The Rework Project
Rework Project is a city-wide community response that is about work itself and rethinking work for those experiencing homelessness. It is a relationally driven response. We can't always give money and jobs to everyone, but we can offer healthy relationships with dignity and respect. It is informed by the belief that everyone has some talent, but not everyone has opportunity. We want to be distributers of opportunity.

Homeless Kits
Soma Austin is committed to serving and bringing renewal to the homeless community in Austin. The third Sunday of each month we distribute “Homeless Kits” to those in attendance so that you can distribute them during the month as you come across people experiencing homeless and who need some help.
