Soma Austin gathers each Sunday morning at 10:30am at The Hideout Coffeehouse and Theatre at 617 Congress Avenue (Congress and 7th Street) in downtown Austin! We invite you to join us for friendship, song and a time of teaching. It's a coffeeshop so bring a few bucks and feel free to bring your coffee into the theatre with you.
Soma Kids / Childcare
We offer childcare for infants through fifth grade. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check-in and ask any questions. If you have a child over fifth grade that you would like childcare for, please email and let us know. Parking Options (Plan to arrive early)
- Metered parking is free downtown on Sunday mornings.
You might walk a couple blocks, but it is worth it. Adults with no children will find this their best solution. - LAZ Parking for $2.00 on the southeast corner of Congress & 7th Street. This is the best option for those small children.
a. Park in a marked spot with a number on it, and make a note of the number.
b. Write 'church' on a piece of paper and place it on your dashboard in plain site
c. Put $2 in the payment slot that corresponds to the number of your parking spot.
d. You will only be able to park in that spot at the reduced rate for a reasonable period of time for church, both before and after. This is a public lot, so there is no guarantee that parking spots will be available.
f. Soma Austin assumes no liability concerning this parking lot. The lot is serving us by offering a reduced rate so they can make a few dollars on an otherwise empty lot. If there are damages or questions concerning LAZ Parking or parking on their property you may contact them directly at (512) 472-4261.
There are other pay lots in the area, but you will need to check their parking rules and payment requirements. Best plan is to arrive early!!

Downtown Austin Special Events
We live in a very active city and occassionally there are special events downtown that effect traffic and our meetings. The best way to stay on top of things is to follow our blog (read or subscribe) which will include special announcements. You can also check the City of Austin's Special Events page which has a calendar of events and road closures to be aware of.
