Soma Austin

Soma Groups are our primary places of community, and where we share our lives with one another.  They are not merely meetings, but rather a community of people who are in relationship with one another and who share parks, restaurants, neighborhoods and common struggles. They are where we learn from one another, serve one another, grow together and join together in renewing people we know and the local communities we live in.

The East Riverside Soma Group is focused on engaging the Montopolis area with the gospel. There is a mix of married couples with children, some without, and a few singles. We live life together on a weekly basis as much as we can by helping each other with projects that we need to tackle and just to encourage each other with gospel truth. We believe strongly that living life together in community enables us to draw nearer to Christ with more passion as we confess our struggles to each other and express our praise for the Father's victories in our lives and trust the Spirit to empower us to serve our neighbors and apply the gospel to every day encounters.
