New to Soma Austin?
Who is Soma Austin?
The heartbeat of Soma Austin is to renew people and communities in our city and beyond, and we do so by intentionally sharing our lives with one another in our community based rhythms and with others by intentionally entering into their lives as people of hope and renewal.

Who will I meet?
You will meet people who are alot like you. We are professionals, bohemians, college students, musicians, artists, moms and dads, and more. We come from broken backgrounds and spotless records, from nuclear families and divorce, we have been through some life and each of us walks with a bit of a limp that life has given us. Some of us became believers in Christ at an early age. Others, including the pastor, came to faith in Christ well into adulthood. We are not perfect people, but we hope to be humble people who follow Christ. No matter your past or present, we invite anyone to join us.
Where are we
We come from all over the city of Austin. We are a church dispersed throughout the city that gathers on Sundays at 6:00pm for our weekly services in South Central Austin as well as in homes, coffeeshops, parks and workplaces throughout Austin during the week.
Check out our weekly services and missional communities for more information.
Community Life
Life is not to be lived in isolation. Rather, our lives are to be lived in community with others and in the rhythms of life that ebb and flow. At Soma Austin we place a very high value on intentionally developing long-term social, spiritual relationships. We invite you to join us in community through any of the following environments.
Austin Life
Austin is perhaps the coolest city in the US. From its eclectic central Austin communities to the suburbs, it is one cool place to live. While Austin is a major player in government, education, technology, business and the arts, the richest part of the city is in its neighborhoods and the people who live there.
