Gospel Class in June!

We will be holding our first Gospel Class at Soma on Sunday night, June 6 & 13, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Hamilton Apartments club house (click for directions).
The Gospel Class will cover:
- The historical redeeming story of God in Christ, reconciling the world and seeing it's renewal complete.
- How those truths are understood and practiced in the local church, specifically at Soma Austin.
We believe that providing an overview of the story of God and what that means for the local church and Soma Austin will greatly aid anyone and everyone seeking to know more about Christ and His Church. This class is not an apologetics class to teach you how to share the gospel primarily, but rather it is to help you understand and live out the gospel while giving you a gospel centered framework to understand life around you.
Who is this class for?
This class is open to anyone and everyone who wants to learn about the gospel story and how it pertains to the local church, and we encourage all to attend.
Covenant Membership
This class also serves as a prerequisite for covenant membership at Soma. Click here to learn more about Covenant Membership. On the evening of June 27th we will have a Covenant Membership dinner, song, a time of covenant with one another and communion. Children will be welcome at this dinner.
What if I can't attend both classes in person?
We will be providing audio recordings of the teaching and Q&A portion of the classes. If you are interested in Covenant Membership, you can miss up to one class, listen to it in it's entirety by June 27th, and then attend a luncheon after church on the 27th where we will discuss the material and provide opportunities for Q&A.

Childcare & Food
We will provide childcare as well as light snacks and drinks. Registration is required. Please indicate the number of children and their ages so we can plan appropriately.
