At Soma Austin, we desire to see all things in the city of Austin and beyond renewed with the Gospel of Jesus, and that includes music. I'm mean, Austin has been named the Live Music Capital of the World. It's clear our culture highly values music, so we need to be active in helping renew it for the Gospel. That's exactly what our friends over at Music For The City are doing. Music for the City is a movement of artists and Austinites bringing together music and charity to aid the poor, sick and helpless.

That's why we want to tell you about and invite to Music For the City's Volume 1 CD release party this Saturday night, starting at 7pm, at La Zona Rosa. Artists performing include Alpha Rev, Aaron Ivey, The Soldier Thread, Quiet Company, Matt McCloskey, and many more. Tickets are just $15 and Volume 1 is also $15. You can purchase your tickets now here. All proceeds from the event and CD will go to Austin Children's Shelter and Safeplace.
