Soma Austin

We are excited to announce that Porterbrook Austin courses start on September 18, 2010!

Porterbrook Austin is a rich theological training program that helps Christians learn how to serve Jesus and his people better — whether they are church leaders, church planters, or simply Christians wanting to deepen their theological understanding and become more mission-focused. The programs are flexible and have been designed to be integrated with your whole Christian life in whatever context you’re serving.

At it’s core, Porterbrook Austin is a theological training program with a supported self-study structure with others who are training in a similar field, church or geographic affiliation. It is biblical, practical, relational, contextual, accessible, flexible and affordable.

Porterbrook Austin Program Options

• Theology for Everyone: Full Program: All 24 courses over a two year period. (Soma Austin members click here)
• Theology for Everyone: Selected Courses: Choose from 1 to 4 courses each quarter. (Soma Austin members click here)
• Missional Church Planter Training: In this full two-year program future church planters and current planters will learn the theology and practice of missional church planting.
• Pastors & Missionaries:  The full two-year program for pastors & missionaries
• Church Leaders: Church Leaders in Austin can make Porterbrook Austin available to their members.
